Seating Plans

Delicious food, heartwarming toasts, and laughter filling the air. A careful plan can ensure that your reception layout feels as smooth as that celebratory bubbly!

A seating chart is your secret weapon if you're serving a sit-down meal. It helps waitstaff quickly find guests with dietary needs and ensures anyone with accessibility concerns has discreet spots near restrooms and exits. When it comes to the actual logistics, we provide detailed help with a precise layout, ensuring that tables are spaced appropriately, nobody is too cramped, and guests and staff can mingle and move in between comfortably.

While not required, a head table can also be a great way to honour both sets of parents, siblings, and the key members of the wedding party. It's essentialy a VIP zone, set at the prime focal point of the room, with the bride and groom sitting in the centre, next to their parents, then siblings, and spanning out to the bridal party. But remember, you can always adjust this line-up to suit your preference.

When it comes to guest placements, don't hesitate to involve both sets of parents. They not only bring a wealth of knowledge and insights but also love being part of the planning process. A collaborative effort can significantly contribute to creating a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

Lastly, consider your younger guests. If a lot of children are going to present be and you decide on a dedicated children's table, ensure that younger ones can see their parents and that their tables are nearby. If there are only a few children, it is often better to seat them with their parents and offer a few activities. We often also suggest professional dedicated adult companions, who can sit at the children’s table, guide them throughout and of course, also help to keep them entertained. Discussing this with the parents is also a great idea, as they will have firsthand experience of how they are most likely to react.
